The Certificate in Facial and Skincare is an introductory course that gives you in-depth information about skin care treatments. The course covers a comprehensive basis for skin analysis, customized treatments for specific conditions problems, cleansing, exfoliation, massage, masque, and moisturizing. The final results bring a sense of rejuvenation, hydration, and vibrant to the skin.

OBJECTIVE

This course aims to develop professional competence in Facial and Skincare treatments, enabling learners to safely and effectively deliver facial and skincare services to the general public. Upon completion, learners will gain the practical and theoretical skills required to perform professional skin analysis, select appropriate products, apply correct facial techniques, maintain hygiene and sanitation standards, provide client care, and deliver suitable aftercare advice. Graduates will be prepared to pursue employment opportunities in the local and global spa, salon, and wellness industry and may also offer facial and skincare services independently as part of a professional skincare practice.

PRE-REQUISITE

No prior experience is required. The Certificate in Facial and Skincare is open to all candidates.

GRADING CRITERIA

The overall qualification is graded:

Pass – 60% to 74%

Merit – 75% to 89%

Distinction – 90% to 100%

The collective mark is formed by multiple-choice questions, a practical exam, assignments, and case studies.
