Indian Head Massage

Indian Head Massage is a traditional holistic therapy originating from India, based on ancient Ayurvedic principles. This therapy focuses on the head, neck, shoulders, upper back, face, and scalp, helping to release muscular tension, reduce stress, improve circulation, and promote mental clarity and emotional balance. Indian Head Massage is widely practised in spas, wellness centres, and complementary therapy settings worldwide for relaxation, stress relief, and wellbeing enhancement.

OBJECTIVE

This course aims to develop professional competence in Indian Head Massage, enabling learners to safely and effectively deliver Indian Head Massage to the general public. Upon completion, learners will gain the practical and theoretical skills required to perform Indian Head Massage using correct techniques, hygiene practices, client consultation, and aftercare advice, and to pursue employment opportunities in the global spa and wellness industry.

PRE-REQUISITE

No prior experience is required.
The Certificate in Indian Head Massage is open to all candidates.

The overall qualification is graded as follows:

Pass: 60% – 74%

Merit: 75% – 89%

Distinction: 90% – 100%

The final grade is based on performance across the MCQ exam, practical assessment, assignments, and case studies.
